Why two angles and subtitles
A second camera gives the editor somewhere to cut to, which keeps a talking head moving and covers the odd fluffed line. It is the single biggest difference between a reel that looks produced and one that looks improvised.
Subtitles are non-negotiable now that most social video is watched on mute. B-roll cutaways break up the talking head and hold attention.
